This guide is for students enrolled in or faculty teaching any of these types of courses:
When accessing library resources from off campus, you will need to log in to most library databases, ebooks, and your Library Search and Interlibrary Loan accounts. When on campus or using Spartan GreenSky, you only need to log in once to access most library resources. Generally, you will use your full USC Upstate email address and Password to access these resources, though some, such as Greensky, require only your USC Upstate Username (first part of your email address up to the @ sign). This may differ from your USC Network Username and Password used to access Blackboard.
For more information and help with passwords, see these pages:
You can eliminate multiple logins from off-campus by using Spartan GreenSky, a software that creates a virtual desktop on your computer or mobile device that is just like being on campus. GreenSky gives you access to your USC Upstate email account, Microsoft Office software, and cloud storage. It also facilitates printing on the Greenville and Spartanburg campuses. GreenSky is installed on all university computers. It can also be accessed through your browser using your university credentials and installed on your computer through the Windows App. For more information follow the link to the SpartanGreenSky Hub below.
You will need to use your Carolina Card (USC Upstate student ID) to check out books from the Upstate Library, use PASCAL Delivers and Visiting Patron services, and to request items from Interlibrary Loan.
To obtain a Carolina Card, contact the University Department of Public Safety on the Spartanburg campus or contact Vicki Corn at University Center Greenville at vcorn@uscupstate.edu
