Memorial books are a way to continue the legacy of a late loved one or colleague. Upon request, the library will acquire and plate a book in memory of
- USC Upstate students, staff, faculty, and alumni
- Community members
- Donors and other friends of the university
- Supporters of higher education in the Upstate region and the state of South Carolina
- Anyone who, during their life, fostered the university's success and well-being
Memorial books are plated with the designee's name. Books are then made available for check-out to university ID or library card holders.
Selecting a book
You may
- Ask the library to buy a specific book
- Ask the library to buy a book on a subject of interest to the designee
