In partnership with SCLA and Everylibrary, a postcard campaign was coordinated to remind Senator Lindsey Graham to “Save South Carolina Libraries”. Interested advocates submitted a form to have unfilled out postcards sent to them. Advocates were asked to finish the sentence “South Carolina libraries and the people they serve need these funds because…”
Over 300 postcards were delivered in person to Senator Graham’s Greenville office during the 2017 South Carolina Library Legislative Day. When advocates went to the office, the administrative assistant told us that many of the postcards had been sent in before our visit.
