St. Patrick's Day Display
Michael Sanders
As the Spring season is approaching, the USC Upstate Library Display Committee’s new theme is St. Patrick’s Day. Every item and decoration presented here reflects the theme of St. Patrick’s Day or Ireland in some capacity. In addition to honoring the holiday and country, the committee decided to spotlight books, poems, or stories written by or about famous Irish writers. Writers such as Oscar Wilde, James Joyce, William Butler Yeats, and a few others. All library materials depicted on this display are available for checkout. The display will be up through all of March and April. The committee hopes that this representation of materials will encourage our students and patrons to become more enlightened about either the holiday or Ireland’s history and storytelling.
