Digital Campus, provided by Swank Motion Pictures, is a tool faculty may use to request many major motion picture films in a streaming format for in-class* use. Films are made available on a per-semester basis, but may be re-requested as needed.

How To Request Films Through Digital Campus (For Faculty Use)

  1. Visit our Digital Campus portal.
  2. Clicking the above Digital Campus portal link on campus should open the website automatically. Users off campus may have to pass through an Upstate sign-in screen where they could be asked to enter their Upstate email address and password.
  3. Select the "Instructor" option.
  4. Search for the desired film(s).
  5. Click "Request" beside a title you wish to select.
  6. You will need to create a Digital Campus instructor account (or enter your information if already registered) in order to complete the brief request form for each title. (Note: This account is separate from and in addition to your Upstate login.)
  7. Once submitted, films are often ready in a matter of days; you will receive an email notifying you when the link has been set up.

If a film is not available in the Digital Campus catalog, please check Feature Films for Education (also on our A-Z database list) or contact your library liaison. Digital Campus may still be able to secure classroom use rights*, though this is not always possible.
