Physical science is the study of inanimate natural objects and the laws that govern them. It includes a range of topics, such as:

  • Physics: The study of matter and energy
  • Chemistry: The study of substances, their properties, and reactions, especially at the micro-level
  • Earth science: The study of the Earth's structure, atmosphere, weather, seas, and land, and how they are connected
  • Space science or astronomy: The study of planets, stars, and galaxies
