Library Technology Help: Off Campus Access to Databases

This guide will help with some of the more common computer / technology issues

Proxy Server Log In

Log on to the Library Database and Library catalog use email username and password

Why do I have to sign in?

  • If you are off campus, a sign in is required because access to our library's paid electronic resources is limited in most cases to current students, faculty, and staff.
  • Some resources require an additional manual login even on campus.

Reset Your Password

If you are still unable to login to the databases, you may want to reset your email password by going to the USC Upstate Information technology and data service page below. Alternatively, you can manage your various logins, passwords, etc. via the Manage User Account link below.

Spartan GreenSky

You can also access USC Upstate network by opening Spartan GreenSky on your computer (downloading is optional). Spartan GreenSky allows users to access any USC Upstate lab computer via their personal computers or tablets. Video may be slow/difficult to view.
