Business and Business Analytics Resources: Overview: Company Information

Nexis Uni provides a variety of company information.

Once in Nexis Uni, follow these steps:

• Click on Advanced Search
• Click on the "Company and Financial" tab.
• Select "Company Profiles"
• In the search bar type in the name of the company (i.e. Home Depot)
• Under the "Source" section type in "Hoover" and select the desired report. (You may select more than one.)
• Hit Search 

The following databases may also contain profiles on companies. Search the name of your company and the keywords Company Profile.

EXAMPLE: Home Depot AND Company Profile
 

Information often includes a company overview, key facts, a business description, names of key employees, products and services, as well as top competitors. Some profiles may include a SWOT Analysis.
