What are creative commons licenses?
Licenses that creators choose for their works that allow others to use, adapt, and redistribute without permission.

 

 

Four Licensing Elements

BY Attribution - required. Included in all CC licenses. You must attribute the author when using their work. 
SA - Share alike. All works created with this license must be licensed with the same requirements. Two of the CC licenses include this condition. 
NC - Noncommercial. Works only available for non-commercial purposes. 
ND- No derivates. Users may not create new additions or adaptations to this work.
