Having issues getting to videos?

  • Try using a different browser, Chrome, Firefox, Explorer, etc.
  • Try clearing your history & cash
  • Try starting in the database (https://tinyurl.com/yaa9r8xj) and searching for the title of the film.

Build a personal Playlist for both titles and segments

Create a playlist of online videos for each of your courses?  It is an easy way for you to organize the videos that you are using and bring them all up using a single link.

A log-in is necessary to create a playlist.  At the top of the Films on Demand page, select My Films and then select User Log-in or Create an Account

You are now on your personal site from where you can set up playlists customized for your class.

To add a video to the playlist, click on the .  If you want to select specific video segments, view the segments and then add them to your playlist.

You will need to name your playlist.  You can view your playlists by selecting My Playlists.

  • Use the Playlists tab at the top navigation bar to review your playlists. Each Playlist has its own URL which you can share with others via Blackboard or another web resource.

Use the Correct Link

The link above includes the Library's Proxy Link to assure students can get to the video off campus.

All video titles and individual segments of videos in Films On Demand have a persistent link (called "Record URL") that you can copy and paste into Blackboard or other web resources. *Do not copy/paste the code in the address box on your browser. It will not work consistently!*
