Gun Laws & 2nd Amendment: School Shootings

Searching

When researching school shootings the best place to start is Google.  From Google learn the location (state and town name), school name, name of the shooter, and often, if an older shooting if the shooter went to prison or not.  Once you have that information turn to the databases that cover News such as Newspaper Source Plus, or Nexis Uni particularly if the shooting is within the past year.  Newspapers will often give first-hand accounts of the shooting these are considered Primary Sources.  News stories will also often compare the current shooting with an older one that will have been covered in scholarly articles.
