General Information

The USC Upstate Library presents three awards each year: two to undergraduate students who demonstrate a superior grasp of information literacy in a major project they have completed within the past year, and one member of the faculty or teaching academic staff who has shown a commitment to promoting information literacy among students and faculty at Upstate. Each of the three awards includes a cash award. For detailed information on eligibility, criteria, and the application process for each award, refer to the tabs on this guide.

The deadline for applications for the 2024 Information Literacy Awards is Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

Application Information

The submission deadlines for the 2023-2024 academic year are as follows:

Faculty/Teaching Staff Award: Friday, March 29, 2024 at noon

First-Year and Advanced Undergraduate Awards: Monday, April 15, 2024 at 5 p.m.
