Every application to graduate, medical, law, or business school requires a score on one of these standardized admissions exams: 

  • GRE = Graduate Record Exam
  • GMAT = Graduate Management Admissions Test
  • MCAT = Medical College Admissions Test
  • LSAT = Law School Admission Test

Many Careers require licensure and certification tests to practice in the field such as:  

  • PRAXIS = Teaching
  • NCLEX RN = Registered Nursing
  • NCLEX-PN = Practical Nursing
  • NNAAP = National Nurse Aide Assessment Program
  • MACE = Medication Aide Certification Examination

LearningExpress Library has 8 areas including College Center and Career Center.  The Career Center page has information on different careers, help to prepare for entrance exams and occupational exams (including online sample tests), information about a career in the military, as well as information on job searches, interviewing, and networking skills. This database also has articles, tutorials, e-books, and other materials.
