Welcome to the USC Upstate Library Dual Enrollment LibGuide. This guide was designed by Library Faculty to help you navigate the Library and its Resources as a Dual Enrollment Student. The first thing you must do is to make sure you have BOTH of your USC Upstate Passwords set up. USC Upstate has ONE set of User Names/Password that is for Blackboard© and a DIFFERENT User Name/Password for Computer Login & e-mail.
You should have received your Student Data Sheet containing your Network Username (for system-wide use), e-mail address, and VIP ID Number.
Spartan GreenSky is an initiative of USC Upstate to provide anywhere, anytime access to USC Upstate e-mail, files, and course-required software for all students, faculty, and staff. With the Spartan GreenSky software, users can access any of these services or specialized software via computer or wireless device with Internet access previously only available in specific computer labs.
Your USC Upstate User Name and Password is used to login to the following:
You should already have your USC Upstate username and e-mail address from the student data sheet mailed to you earlier. With the letter in hand, go to the USC Upstate Password Reset page. This page offers instructions to both create your initial password and also to reset your password should you forget it in the future. To create your Password you will need your User ID the portion of your e-mail address before the @ symbol (it is often but NOT ALWAYS your first initial and last name). Note your password must be a minimum of 8 characters and must include at least one uppercase letter, one lower case letter, one number digit, and one special character. Also, it can not include any part of your user name or be one of the last 10 passwords you have used.
To check your USC Upstate User Name and Password (NOT BLACKBOARD) follow the directions below.
If you do not know your User Name / Email you can ask for help from several people on campus including your professor or the friendly people at the Circulation Desk. You will need your USC Upstate ID (also known as your CarolinaCard) to obtain your User Name.
Students are given a $25.00 printing balance at the beginning of each semester for use throughout campus. This is the equivalent of 500 single-sided black & white print pages. As you print or make copies, the cost is deducted from this balance. You can add money to your Carolina Card through the Self Service Carolina Website.
