Course Reserves Request Submission

  • For all reserve requests, first check our Copyright Guidelines to ensure the reserve item will comply with copyright laws. To submit your request, please fill out the Request Form online. If the item(s) to be placed on reserve is a personal copy, please deliver the copy to the library as soon as possible after submitting the request form.
  • After approval, materials will be placed on course reserve starting on the first day of the semester and will be removed from course reserve on the last day of the term. Please allow three (3) business days for processing all reserve requests.
  • Personal materials should include the owner's name and contact information on the inside cover. Reserve stickers and barcodes will be affixed to all materials on course reserve. While we always try to take the very best care of your personal materials, in some cases the removal of these stickers and barcodes may cause damage to those materials.
  • All reserve item requests must be submitted for each term, regardless of whether or not the item has been on reserve for past terms.
  • E-Reserves are electronic materials (PDFs of articles, book chapters, sample texts, etc.) placed on reserve for a specific course. In order to comply with copyright laws, all e-reserves will be placed on Blackboard for student access.
  • The library is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal materials.
