Search the library catalog by using the keywords/search words "American generations." There are several books available. However, if you select a Subject in the Search box and type the name of generations (for example Millennials), you will be able to retrieve more titles.
Children's books are known as Juvenile books in the Library Catalog and subject headings for children's books usually contain Juvenile Fiction or Juvenile Literature. The juvenile collection uses the same LC classification scheme as the rest of the library. Here are some strategies for locating children's books:
1. Browse the juvenile books section located in the northwest corner of the first floor, to the left of the group study rooms.
2. If you are interested in books by a particular author, do an author search in the catalog and make sure the location is listed as USC Upstate Juvenile. Examples:
Rowling, J K
3. If you are interested in children's books on a particular topic, do a keyword search for [topic] AND juvenile, and make sure that the location is listed as USC Upstate Juvenile. Examples:
dinosaurs and juvenile
pirates and juvenile
