Welcome to the USC Upstate Library Dual Enrollment LibGuide. This guide was designed by Library Faculty to help you navigate the Library and it's Resources as a Dual Enrollment Student. First thing you must do is to make sure you have BOTH of your USC Upstate Passwords set up. USC Upstate has ONE set of User Names/Password that is for Blackboard© and a DIFFERENT User Name/Password for Computer Login & e-mail.
You should have received via USPS mail your Student Data Sheet containing your Network Username (for system wide use), e-mail address and VIP ID Number.
To check your USC Upstate User Name and Password (NOT BLACKBOARD) follow the directions below.
Once you have clicked print to send the document to either the BW Student Held Queue or Color Student Held Queue, you will need to accept the charges on the Pharos pop up screen then you can release the print job at any of the HP "Multi-Functional Printers" (MFPs) around campus within 18 hours (your print jobs will be purged from the print queue after approximately 18 hours) of the time you click print on the computer. You will only be charged when you release the print job at one of the HP "Multi-Functional Printers" (MFPs) around campus. The library has 4 MFPs including one in the 24/7 Computer Lab.
Need more help?
Having trouble? Give the USC Upstate Information Technology and Data Services Help Desk a call at (864) 503-5257, e-mail them at firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit them in person in Administration 109. When calling for assistance, Dual Enrolled students should be sure to state that they are Dual enrolled High School Students.
If you do not know your User Name / Email you can ask for help from several people on campus including your professor or the friendly people in the Computer Lab Office in LIB 117. You will need your USC Upstate ID (also know as your CarolinaCard) to obtain your User Name.
Spartan GreenSky is an initiative of USC Upstate to provide anywhere, anytime access to USC Upstate e-mail, files, and course-required software for all students, faculty, and staff. With the Spartan GreenSky software, users can access any of these services or specialized software via computer or wireless device with Internet access previously only available in specific computer labs.
Students are given a $25.00 printing balance at the beginning of each semester (this balance will not roll over semester to semester) for use in the computer labs and copy machines throughout campus. This is the equivalent of 500 single-sided black & white print pages. As you print or make copies, the cost is deducted from this balance. If you need more money added to your printing account, you can add money to your Carolina Card through the Self Service Carolina Website. You can make deposits 24/7 with a minimum of $10.00 through the CarolinaCard Options in my.sc.edu. Your deposit will load to your CarolinaCard within 5 minutes.

Students use SSC to register for classes, manage their financial aid information, and view their class schedule, while faculty use SSC to communicate with students and assign grades.
